Medicare Made Simple
Are you turning 65 and newly eligible for Medicare? Do you want to know more about your Medicare benefits? Do you serve as a caregiver who would like learn about Medicare? Then join us for a Medicare Made Simple class.
Medicare Made Simple classes address Medicare Part A (inpatient hospitalization/skilled nursing), Part B (doctors/outpatient hospital services/labs/radiology), Part C (Medicare Advantage plans), and Part D (prescription drugs), as well as Medicare supplemental plans.
Curriculum is developed through the federal SHIP (State Health Insurance and Assistance Program) or in Virginia, VICAP (Virginia Insurance Counseling and Assistance Program). A trained and certified Medicare Counselor will lead this interactive session.
Please note that in alignment with Arlington County’s Guidance for Public Meetings and Gatherings to Mitigate and Contain the Spread of COVID-19, Medicare presentations are being held virtually. Future dates for Medicare Made Simple presentations will be released and communicated as they become available.

Classes are free. Enrollment is required. To enroll, use the links above, email us or call 703-228-1700 or 703-228-1788 (TTY). Classes are not open to the media. Classes are subject to cancellation due to low enrollment.
Classes are located at the Department of Human Services (Sequoia Plaza) at 2100 Washington Blvd, Arlington, VA 22204. Classes will be held in Conference Room A of the Lower Level, unless otherwise indicated.
Free parking is available in the Arlington County Customer spaces in the garage across the street. Meter parking is available on the street and is free for evening classes.
